REGISTRATION & KEY DEADLINES
Registration for 2027 will open in early 2027. Space is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis based on the order applications are received.
Deadlines:
Food Vendors: Friday, June 8th at 10:00 PM
All Other Vendors: Friday, June 11th at 10:00 PM
GENERAL BOOTH REQUIREMENTS
Vendor Space: Booths are limited to a 10' × 10' space.
Supplies: All equipment and displays—including tables, chairs, and tents—must be provided entirely by the participant. Tents are highly recommended.
Weather Policy: There is no rain date. The event will held rain or shine.
Fees & Refunds: Registration fees are strictly non-refundable.
Day-of Registration: Unregistered vendors may sign up and pay on-site, but locations will be restricted to remaining available space.
Notification: Booth assignments will be emailed 1–2 days prior to Village Day. On-site volunteers will also be available to help you find your space.
FOOD VENDOR REQUIREMENTS
Pre-Registration Review: We are deeply supportive of our local businesses! To ensure a diverse marketplace, please contact event organizers prior to registering so we can verify that your food or beverage offerings are unique to the event.
Permits: All food vendors must obtain an itinerant permit directly from the Newton Health Department. Please contact them at 617-796-1420 to secure your permit before the event.
Power & Generators: Traditional electrical hookups are not available.
If you plan to use a gas-powered generator, you must notify us during Pre-Registration Review.
We have a strictly limited number of designated spaces that can safely accommodate generators.
LOAD-IN & LOAD-OUT PROCEDURES
Move In (Set-Up)
Timing: Setup begins at 8:00 AM and must be completed by 11:00 AM.
Vehicle Access: All cars must be unloaded and off the street by 10:00 AM.
Traffic Flow: When you arrive, please enter Lincoln Street from Walnut Street. A staff member will direct you to your assigned space. Once the street is closed, Lincoln Street will operate as a one-way street from Walnut to Bowdoin to make unloading smooth.
Street Closures: Lincoln Street will be closed to general traffic and parking from Walnut Street to Bowdoin Street. Vehicle entry is permitted for unloading only.
🅿️ Parking: Parking is available on nearby side streets. Please do not park in any posted no-parking zones. Otherwise, there are no additional parking restrictions on Sundays.
Move Out (Breakdown)
Traffic Flow: At the end of the day, Lincoln Street will again operate as a one-way street, opening up two lanes for vendor loading and breakdown.
